MEANINGFUL INVESTMENT
(Ensuring your social dividends)

Our reality
Corporate South Africa needs to be commended for their increased spending on Social Investment. Never before has so much money been available to assist those in need. Yet crime, poverty and unemployment continue to increase.

Focus on excellence
Positive impact cannot evolve in a vacuum. Investment in some form is the catalyst for change.

We focus on meaningful investment in credible organisations that are supported by the communities in which they operate, and provide life-changing services to their community. Meaningful investment in these organisations results in meaningful positive impact.

Partnerships deliver extra dividends
The Community Chest provides a professional service to corporates & businesses, ensuring that their investment in our community produces real, positive change in the areas in which it is most needed. We have the relevant expertise to ensure that funds are not misused, and to provide feedback on the impact of the investment.

Good business
Supporting the Community Chest makes good business sense because your investment enables you to support the community that supports your Business.

Tax Deduction
From July 2004, all Corporate support is directed to the Community Chest Section 18A Fund which allows our donors a tax deduction for their kindness.

Donor advised gifts
Some donors prefer assisting specific projects or specific communites in specific areas which may exceed the funding area of the Community Chest.

The Community Chest operates a Donor-Advised Gifts section which enables the donor by working with the Community Chest direct their funding to their area of interest according to their criteria.
